December Reads, 2009

ReadingRoundup_dsA somewhat average reading month, in both quantity and quality.  The Gargoyle was the best by far, and I loved Sacred Hearts.  O. R. Gurney should really collaborate with a real author who can actually write.  His The Hittites was dry and boring.  This demonstrates, I think, why The Kingdom of the Hittites by Trevor Bryce, who mentions Gurney in his notes, is more popular.  Bryce is, quite simply, a better writer.
