Night of the Wandering Dead

Happy Fall, everyone.

And Mother Nature may actually get with the program, but not until next week.  Hopefully, along with the cooler temps, she will also bring rain.  We really need some.

Anyway, today’s offering is another Halloween kit.  This one is actually geared a little more toward Samhain, but is also perfect for the more grown up side of the holiday.  The colors are similar to those in Invasion of the Candy Snatchers, so they should coordinate well together.

Night of the Wandering Dead contains:

  • 6 papers
  • 4 apples
  • 3 gourds
  • 14 frames
  • 6 glitter tiles
  • 2 besoms (witch’s brooms)
  • 2 pentacles
  • 8 beads
  • 6 wire words
  • 6 beaded wire words
  • 4 ghosts
  • 3 ribbons
  • 3 bows
  • 1 fence
  • 1 spider web
  • 1 full moon
  • 1 mist layer
  • 1 bonfire
  • 1 bonefire (Before Samhain was somewhat Christianized, what was burned were bones, not wood, mostly of cattle.  I just thought that sounded interesting.  And creepy.)
  • 1 alpha (upper- and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols)

The font for the alpha is Old Gate Lane Outline.  You can download it from dafont.com.  You can also download Post-it Penscript, the font used for the wire words.
