Halloween QPs and some Layouts

I hope everyone had an awesome Halloween.  How long did it take all of you to get your ghosts and ghouls to bed last night with all of that sugar?  I’ll bet they smuggled contraband into bed with them!  🙂

My niece has sent us lots of pictures of her kids in their costumes.  They are so cute!  It’s hard to believe how much they’ve grown.  Especially Bree.  I don’t have any pictures of Brady yet, but his Mom has promised to send me some after she gets off of work.  Most of the layouts were done using my Halloween kits:  Invasion of the Candy Snatchers, Night of the Wandering Dead, and Masquerade.  When I saw Kaylee’s costume, though, I couldn’t resist using The Power of the Pink.  Also, in Bree’s LO, I colorized some frames from Men in Progress.  The journalling on all of the layouts was done with Fineliner Script which you can download from dafont.com.

Strawberry Bliss QPs

The rain water has subsided, somewhat, and I don’t live close enough to a creek or river for their flood waters to effect me.  We didn’t flood here after Floyd, so I seriously doubt we will now.

Another gigantic limb fell out of the pecan tree last night.  Scared the daylights out of all of us, let me tell you!  Talk about things that go bump in the night.

Sometimes, I find myself playing around with a kit, experimenting with layouts and such, even as I’m making it.  If I really like an LO, I’ll save it for later use.  Here are a few QPs I made with my Strawberry Bliss kit.

Only Imagine QPs and Extras

Here’s just a few extra elements I made for my Only Imagine kit, along with three quickpages.

The extras include:

• 4 wordarts
• 2 rainbows
• 1 frames
• 1 sheet waterdrops

The font used for the wordarts is Passions Conflict by Rob Leuschke.  You can purchase it from his website, Alphabytes.

Also, the waterdrops were made in GIMP.  This is a free image manipulation program that you can download here.  If you would like to create your own water drops, here is the tutorial:  How to generate realistic mass waterdrops on a surface.

Laughs & Giggles Bragbook Pages

Good morning, y’all.  Look at what I have for you to play with today:

Eight bragbook pages, 800 x 600 pixels (2.667 x 2 inches) each.  A couple of them are based on layouts I did of my nephew, Brady.  Some of them are birthday themed, some aren’t.  One is “unbirthday” themed!

Also, I’ve included a separate PNG file for one of the pages to more easily insert the pictures (the one with the graph paper background).  Just copy and past the template layer onto the page then send to bottom so that the black border doesn’t show.

All papers and elements come from my Laugh! and Birthday Giggles kits, and my Doodled Circle Frames.

The fonts used are “Pea Faith Dots” from Kevin and Amanda and KR Butterfly by Kat’s Fun Fonts from Search Free Fonts.

Fall’s the Artist

Fall has arrived with a vengeance.  Cold and wet.  Though, unlike y’all in the Midwest, I don’t have to worry about snow.

Memorial Day QPs

Today is my nephew’s birthday.  He’s now 16 (where’d the time go, lol), so drivers, you have been warned.   🙂

For dinner, he says he wants grilled burgers.  Luckily, it’s not supposed to rain until tomorrow.  Instead of a cake for dessert, he wants one of those Oreo pies.  He loves those, and could probably eat a whole one by himself.  Last year, he wanted the pies, cookies-n-cream ice cream, and cookies-in-cream pudding!!!!!!

As far as presents go, he’ll mostly get money which I’m pretty sure will be converted into the latest Guitar Hero game, and I probably don’t wanna know what else.

Anyway, here’s just a quick freebie I whipped up.  There are four QPs in the zip file.
